Most production and processing procedures involve transport of materials. The unrolling device is located at the material inlet of the machine; a linear drive keeps the feeding device running.. The rolling device follows the variation of materials positions via the linear drive, so that it will be properly positioned for taking up the materials with accurate edge alignment.
Unrolling: During unrolling process, the sensors on the machine will detect the position of the material. For this reason the sensors should be located close to the first pass-over roller as much as possible.
Rolling: During rolling process, the sensors on the rolling device will get the position of the device from the controller. Therefore, the sensors should be located close to the last pass-over roller as much as possible.
